But Bernie, we knew that. So why did you support Hillary Clinton if she is part of the problem? You should have run as independent and then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess with Trump ascending to the presidency. And if the Democrats have failed why do you plan on running again for the nomination of that party in 2020? The Democratic leadership will still be in power in 4 years. And they will never allow you be nominated. Just as in 2016:

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Wednesday night that the Democrats' incredible loss against "an extreme right-wing party that is so out of touch" shows that Democratic leadership is broken and needs to be replaced.
