Too many of our citizens, especially African-Americans, are being brutalized by law enforcement.

End the Mass Incarceration State

Too many of our citizens are being arrested and thrown in jail for non-violent crimes. Or they are falsely arrested and accused. Then they are stuck in prison--even if innocent--and are unable to pay for bail. Then they are stuck with paying for a bond even when they are not charged.

Protect Abortion Rights

Currently the right of woman to seek an abortion is under attack by the Trump administration, Republicans in general. and the Supreme Court

​Free College Education

The survival of this country, and the planet, will depend on how many of our citizens get a college education. It is also a major part of the remedy in ending income inequality and class division. If only the rich can afford education then that means the 99 percent are left inferior choices in life. If means only democracy itself is endangered. An education populace is a free one.

End the Military Industrial Complex

We are currently fighting in seven wars. We have military bases in 70 countries.  The U.S. Spends more than 1/3 of the world's military budget totals. That means our budget is about the size of the next 7 largest countries put together. That total is unsustainable.
